Grateful for Acts 29
Amy and I are about to fly out from Orlando after a great time at the Acts 29 Global Gathering. We joined the network back in 2007 when it was just getting going. A29 has seen some bumps over the last few years, but God has blessed our network so much since - particularly under the leadership of President Matt Chandler and CEO Steve Timmis. I think Acts 29 is in the healthiest spot it’s ever been in. Check out our annual report here.
There are now 800 churches in 52 different countries. There were over 1300 people from 45 countries at this biennial event. Amy and I had the opportunity to reconnect with friends from all over the U.S. and the world. It was especially sweet to get to spend a little time with Billy and Hannah Glosson, church planters we recently sent to plant Coram Deo in Morganton, NC. In just two days, I leave to visit our church planters we’ve sent to Tokyo - Jeremy and Leanna Grove and Drew and Megumi Glosson. God is good!
