Join Our Winter One Read
A couple of times a year in Karis Church, we come together and read a book as a church body. This winter, we’ll take a look at The Color of Compromise by Jemar Tisby. The book is a challenging, even jarring, look at the history of racism in America and how it has tragically been intertwined with racism in the church. Not everyone will agree with everything Tisby says - his account of the past or his prescription for the future. However, his words are sorely needed. That the church has “gone with the flow” of our culture on race far more than leading the way upstream seems to be an inescapable take-away from the book.
The Color of Compromise is available from Amazon and wherever books are sold. However, you can also grab a copy on Sundays for just $10.
