Diamine Oxblood Ink Review

I’m a huge fan of Diamine Inks. I’ve already reviewed both Blue/Black and November Rain. Oxblood is a fantastic color, one of their most popular. I’ve always got it inked up in at least one of my pens, and generally in my Parker 51.

Oxblood is a dark red. Some call it a red-black. Others call it a reddish brown. It does resemble dried blood, thus the name. It’s a great everyday ink that performs well on pretty much any paper. It’s also dark enough that it works well in more professional applications. Don’t grab if you want a rich, bright red. Grab Pilot Iroshizuku Momiji instead.

I highly recommend Diamine Oxblood. Every fountain pen user should have a bottle in his or her collection.
